ABOUT ME
My name is Abbey, and I'm a Counselling Psychologist working in Lanarkshire. I've been working in private practice for a number of years and also work in an NHS Adult Mental Health Service. In addition to working in independent practice and for the NHS, I have additionally worked in a hospice, a charity for survivors of abuse and for organisations offering therapeutic intervention to children and young people.
I offer psychological therapy for people presenting with a range of presenting problems; such as trauma related difficulties (including PTSD and complex trauma), anxiety related issues and many more!
During our sessions together, I will always work in collaboration with you, identifying your goals and reviewing these on a regular basis. I adapt and integrate interventions based on your unique needs. I am a warm and compassionate person and am passionate about helping people to improve their overall quality of life.
In addition to therapeutic work, I have delivered a lot of supervision, consultation and training. Please get in touch with me to find out more about how I may be able to help you.
